This antique Chinese altar table, originally from a Buddhist temple in Shanxi province, features intricate carvings of traditional "auspicious" patterns on the front. Its elegantly curved legs are adorned with "clouds and water waves" motifs. Crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure, the table is made of solid Zelkova wood, ensuring its durability. Dating to the early 19th century, it retains its original patina and wear and remains in excellent condition.
