This Antique Chinese Altar Table is crafted in Ming style combined with Relief carvings. The "flying dragon" design is intricately carved to decorate the front of the table. The legs of the table are crafted with simple and straight lines, which is a typical feature of Ming furniture. The wood used for the surface of this table is one single plank of Elm wood and more than two inches thick. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. This is a very heavy table with great details of handwork. The table is very solid and has been kept in excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear.
