This Antique Chinese Altar Table is handcrafted with Elm Wood. The traditional Chinese design motif is nicely carved on the front of the table. The side panels of the table are nicely carved as well. The wood plank used for the surface is almost two inches thick. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear. The table is very sold and kept in excellent condition (the pictures here show all sides of the table)
