Antique Chinese Altar Table (5561) Cypress Wood, Circa 1800-1849

This Antique Chinese Altar Table is Circa in the early 19th century. The intricate carvings of traditional Chinese auspicious "clouds and scrolls" design decorate the front spandrels and the side panels of the table. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and a tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. This is an extra-long and heavy table with great details of handwork.  Made from Cypress wood with beautiful natural wood grain. the table has been kept in excellent condition.  Original patina and wear.
