Antique Chinese Altar Table (5083), Circa early of 19th century

This Authentic Antique Chinese Altar Table is an outstanding table with great workmanship. Intricate "relief" carving of floral design decorate the front of the table. Traditional Chinese "Auspicious" patterns decorate the back of the table (the table can be displayed from both sides) The side panels of the table intricately carved with "Ganoderma" design. (Ganoderma is ancient auspicious symbol of prosperity and longevity in China). All the wood works of this table are rounded up with detailed carving lines. The wood plank used for the surface of this table is one single plank of the wood and more than two inches thick. The table is crafted with wooden pegs and tenon structure; which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made with core of Elm wood with beautiful wood grain. This table is very heavy and solid. Can be used as Library Table, Hallway Table or even a Buffet Table. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear.
