This Authentic Antique Chinese Treasure Trunk is handmade in elegant Ming style. The trunk was originally made for storage of Gold or silver bars and coins for wealthy family before paper money used. The trunk is four-sided and in excellent condition from all sides. There is a small door on top of the trunk for opening. The trunk is handcrafted and structured withwooden pegs and tenon structure, whichis the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Can be used as a coffee table or a storage trunk. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and Hardware. Made of Elm wood.
