This Antique Chinese hatbox is made with one single piece of wood with natural rattan. The hatbox is hand-painted with a traditional Chinese design motif with vibrant colors. The colors are all from Natural dyes. The box was originally made and used for storing hats during the Qing dynasty. Original patina and wear. Circa 1850-1900.
