This antique Chinese chair is made in elegant Ming style furniture with simple and straight lines. Ornate relief carvings of traditional Chinese "Auspicious" patterns decorate the back splat of the chair. The back of the chair is crafted with deep curves. The front opening underneath the seat is uniquely carved. Made from Zelkova wood with beautiful wood grain, the chair is very solid and has been kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear. Circa early of 19th century.
