Antique Chinese Ming Cabinet (2876), Circa early of 19th century

This Antique Chinese cabinet is known as "Kang" cabinet in China. The cabinet is handcrafted in Ming style with traditional "Horse Hoof" legs and straight lines. The unique hardware is made of copper. The intricate carvings of "dragon and scrolls" design decorate the front and the two sides of the cabinet. The cabinet was handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Perfect for a coffee table. Circa early 19th century. Made from combination of Cypress and Elm Wood with beautiful wood grain, the cabinet is very heavy and kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear.
