Antique Chinese Cabinet (5133) Wedding Cabinet
This Authentic Antique Chinese Cabinet is known as "Wedding Cabinet" and used as armoire or wardrobe in China. The cabinet is crafted in elegant Ming style furniture with simple and straight lines. All the frames of the cabinet is carved with one single plank of wood. The two front doors are made with wooden hinge (traditional workmanship for furniture making in China) and can be easily removed. The copper hardware is uniquely crafted into "moon" design. The cabinet is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from core of Elm wood with beautiful wood grain, the cabinet is very heavy and kept in excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original wear and patina.
