Antique Chinese Calligraphy Plaque/Original (9995), Circa 1800-1849

This antique Chinese Calligraphy Plaque is a true piece of historical artifact. The original Chinese calligraphy was hand written and hand carved on the plaque and was highlighted with gold color. The border of the plaque was intricately carved and painted with traditional Chinese design of flower, leaves bird, animal "double-longevity" writing. The carvings are three dimensional. Made from hardwood, the plaque is very heavy and has been kept in excellent condition. Original patina and wear.
