Antique Chinese Ming Meditation Bench/End Table (3399), Circa 1800-1849

This antique Chinese Ming Meditation Bench is crafted in elegant Ming style furniture with simple and straight lines. The legs of the bench are made with one single plank of wood and connected to the top of the bench in a very unique way. The sides of the bench are carved with a "scroll" design. The bench is handcrafted and structured with wooden pegs and a tenon structure, which is the very traditional craftsmanship for furniture making in ancient China. Made from the core of zelkova with beautiful wood grain, the bench is very solid and kept in excellent condition. Circa early of 19th century. Original patina and wear.
